OPTIMA AGM Batteries Are A-OK!

OPTIMA AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology makes batteries virtually spill proof. In traditional flooded batteries, the positive and negative grids hang inside a box submerged in an acid solution. With AGM batteries, positive and negative plates are separated by an absorbent glass mat that holds the electrolyte like a sponge. This minimizes the potential for electrolyte spillage – even when the battery is cracked or damaged. Learn more about Optima AGM batteries.

OPTIMA & Edwin Support WWIAF

This year, OPTIMA Batteries launched the Healing Heroes in Action Tour in partnership with Bassmaster Elite Pro Edwin Evers and the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation (WWIAF). Through five events across the country, the Healing Heroes in Action Tour provided once-in-a-lifetime fishing experiences with Evers to six combat-wounded Purple Heart Veterans, while raising awareness and funds for our nation’s heroes. The program raised more than $12,000 for the WWIAF, with dozens of bids to fish with Evers.
